The performance of the British quintet, formed in 1968 in London, was impressive during the 1:45 a.m. progressive rock. Steve Howe (guitar), Chris Squire (bass, photo) and Alan White (drums), all above 60 years have shown tremendous determination and were thrilled with the response from the audience, who sang all the choruses Palm and hit every solo.
The Canadian singer, who was part of a band called Close to the Edge , name of the greatest classic Yes , was perfect. If you close our eyes, it was possible to view Anderson, the great similarity between the voices.
Moreover, the little guy was very friendly and rehearsed a few words in Portuguese to communicate with the audience. Sympathy , incidentally, was the band's signature in this passage by the island. Except for Howe, attended all the fans on the outside of Floripa Music Hall , posing for pictures and signing autographs.
Another highlight was the presentation by keyboardist Oliver Wakeman . At 38, the eldest son (the youngest son, Adam, played with Ozzy ) the wizard Rick Wakeman, who was part the Yes on five occasions, felt no weight bearing the surname and gave a concert as music and Roundabout Starship Trooper , full of improvisation characteristic of progressive rock. Who has not been lost. Who did not forget.
