Slash surprises in "new" disk Lack

confess I was reluctant to give the "new" disk Saul Hudson, Slash , launched on April 6 via EMI . The first solo of the iconic guitarist however, positively surprised me by the quality of the songs.

The main virtue of the new album may be the choice of the (many) special guests . It seems that the songs were written specifically for each. I can not imagine another unless Ozzy Osbourne to sing fantastic Crucify the Dead, a message (read ) for Axl Rose.

Impossible, too, hear the beginning of Doctor Alibi and not think of Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead . The album is so good and cohesive that even bland Fergie sounds good next to Guitarist in Beautiful Dangerous . Another one I never put some faith and stand out is Kid Rock, who sings very I Hold On, one of the best CD.

But who steals the same disk is vocalist Myles Kennedy, best known for his work with Alter Bridge . Besides being the only one to record two songs ( Back From Cali and Starlight), the singer was asked to tour with Slash . In

stellar list of holdings still have Adam Levine (Maroon 5 ), Ian Astbury (The Cult ), Dave Ghrol ( Foo Fighters), Iggy Pop , Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother ), who recorded the clip By the Sword , among others. 're Weak of friends a guy, huh?

Musically, Slash is more alive than ever and, contrary to what many think, he still makes a difference. Its importance for music is not measured only by the constellation of artists who recorded with him, but for what it is capable of producing. If not in the list of the best this year, kick the bucket.

Genitalpiercing Extrem

that Zakk Wylde does

Scream, new album from Ozzy , released today by Epic Records confirms something that everyone knew would happen: the Prince of Darkness misses of Zakk Wylde, his pupil and writing partner for over 20 years.

confess I have not given the attention it deserves (should?) For Black Rain, the last work of the eternal voice of Black Sabbath with the guitarist. There times, starting in Ozzmosis British singer was 61 years do not record a convincing album. Now

balls. What is the problem, then, Scream? Simple. Harmonics powerful and unmistakable style of Zakk Wylde are not present on disk. It is very strange hear the voice of the Madman without the accompaniment of monster riffs of guitarist.

In its place, Ozzy hired young and talented Gus G. , known for his work with the Dream Evil, Firewind , Mystic Prophecy and Nightrage . Though only 29 years, Greek is experienced and does not disappoint, but to no avail. The fans want Zakk Wylde.

In an interview published last See , the singer said that always makes it hard . "The songs have the same style and the lyrics address the same issues. But I have a new guitarist, Gus the Greek G., "he said.

As contradictory as it may seem like the hard . The addition of guitarist in the Greek gave a renewed sound of Ozzy, but I think the fans deserved more. It seems that something is missing. And you missed the Zakk? The Prince of Darkness, by showing in Scream, yes.

Mix Of Blue Tick Hound

15 years without Rory Gallagher

It is not inconceivable to see the name of William Rory Gallagher the list of 100 greatest guitarists in the world. The Irish, who had his life cut short by a hospital infection in 1995 at age 47 left the world his magnificent musical work in many albums.

Gallagher had a singular talent in which to stage presence and energy of the crowd gave wings to their genius causing it turned out improvised solos that still leaves many famous guitarists impressed.

His fear for aircraft meant that his shows are restricted to only some countries in Europe, thus making unheralded work in the West. Accompanied by his Stratocaster since the age of 15, Rory was an expert, I may say so, in extracting powerful sounds very naturally without the use of pedals, just used the original effects of the cubes of tube time.

There choosing an album that is best for your career, but I can refer to music that are most successful in my player as: Messing With the Kid, Album Live! In Europe ; Calling Card Calling Card Album , and Crest of the Wave album Deuce. *

How Do I Get Rid Of My Baby's Pleghm

* What happened to the STP?

After nine years finally the Stone Temple Pilots released a new album. The successor of Shangri-La, namesake, is good, but not excited.

If this work STP produce great guitar solos, it would not be exaggeration to think or even say that we are hearing the Velvet Revolver, the band of which Scott Weiland (vocals) took part in recent years.

12 songs are lively, simple and short. Only two tracks exceed four minutes in duration. Weiland's voice is a little different, where are those inspired interpretations of Creep, Plush or Wonderful? It all sounds very unwillingly.

The sixth disc of STP, which came out on the 25th of last month by Atlantic Records is just bureaucratic . Nothing explains that one of best on the album is Samba Song, a leftover from Shangri-La.

Scott Weiland, Dean DeLeo (guitar), Robert DeLeo (bass) and Eric Kretz (drums) recorded good songs, but might well have been getting one in your corner. Would save me from disappointment . Listen
