Word Of Thanks Certificate

Day of the rock world turns 25

When the Irish musician Bob Geldof organized the Live Aid , on July 13, 1985, he hardly knew that the date would be chosen by UN (United Nations) as the World Day of Rock .

To not let go unnoticed, I decided to pay (again) a homage to the great Ronnie James Dio , the best singer in the genre, who would have turned 68 years if he were among us.

After his death, in May, taxes and more taxes hit the market trying to earn some upon quietly charismatic. The exception is the Norwegian singer Jorn Lande , which since last year been working on an album dedicated to him.

declared fan of the singer, Jorn had already recorded two songs on the disc Dio Unlocking the Past, 2007. With his death, there were people who called him opportunist, but who knows him knows that Dio is just a tribute to my idol.

What matters is that the disk, whose repertoire mixes of songs from his solo career and quietly of its passage through Black Sabbath, is a honest work, which Dio would be happy and proud to hear.

Listen under the unprecedented Song For Ronnie James, who won a clip, which can be viewed by clicking here .
